Shops of Hermann
One of the fun things to do in Hermann is shop. There are no Macy's or malls but quite a few small private shops where you will find a variety of things to decorate your home and body. Most of these items are antiques or one of a kinds, so you will come away with a unique piece that will always remind you of Hermann.
Of course the wineries have gift shops for your wine schwag, but the fun stuff is in the little antique, art and gift stores throughout the town.
Kunstlerhaus has a great collection of local art, from hand thrown pottery to hand painted targets. Before you go check there website for special events. They regularly have open houses and signing.
Tin Rabbit, located next to Hermannhoff Winery, has a fantastic collection of top quality home goods. These are items you will not find anywhere else and are of great quality. Take your time and wallet, because you will need them both.
Blanches has a fun selection of trinkets, knick knacks and German gifts that are fun gifts to take home. My daughter likes to buy her Webkins here.
Good Buys has t-shirts and things that don't cost much and make nice gifts. We have a tire swing from there hanging in our backyard.
Rick's Chocolate Box - CHOCOLATE! That's all I need to say.
Swiss Meat Co. is about 15 miles north of Hermann in Swiss, MO, but worth drive. You will find some of the best sausage and brats you have ever had in more varieties than you can eat.
There are plenty more shops in Hermann but this should get you started.
