I have ridden the train from St. Louis. It is a nice ride and take slightly less time. The problem is timing. There are only two trains running through Hermann and if it doesn't meet you schedule that is a problem. Hermann is small enough that you can get around without a car as long as you don't want to go to the outlying wineries. Also, I have heard of long delays coming from K.C.

You must be mistaken. That can't be the Chigger Wheeler I know. The one I know drinks heavily and eats babies. You must have caught him on a good day.

Eric; Glad to hear you made the trip safely. We enjoyed you and your family. Too bad about Scott Joplin Festival.I am teaching Chigger a new trick, I might regret this one. He is learning to speak on command, he is doing very good, he is a fast learner. Hope to see you and the family again. Maxine
